🖋 Next to my pencils, pen work is my favourite though ask me on any given day and that may flip. 🤔

I think it’s the crispness of the black line on the stark white paper...the possibility of ‘maybe I will add some colour...maybe not’.

Sunflowers represent adoration, loyalty and longevity, a symbol of true faith and loyalty to something that is much bigger and brighter than themselves.

This India ink drawing is on 140 lb. cold pressed watercolour paper. 5”x 5”, matted 9”x 9”

'By The Beach'

There is something so peaceful about rocks.  The smoothness, uniform colour and texture bring me such calm.

This drawing is from a photo I took down on Lake Ontario a while back.  It is graphite on watercolour paper with a hint of Derwent Graphitints (coloured graphite)
