'Grandma's Knife'

This is a graphite drawing of the knife my husband's Grand Mother gave to my oldest son.  It was from her wedding set, you know the ones with the bone handles.  He always found these were the best for spreading butter on her homemade buns.

I just love detail. He is pale yellow with red markings on his tail but I loved the lines and pattern on his wings.

Kettle - A Reflection

Sweet Face

These little guys sit in my lilac tree outside the backdoor waiting their turn on the bird feeder.  They are so cute, I think they may be my favourite.

Easton Skates

Converse

In this drawing I used Graphitint pencils by Derwent.  They are a coloured graphite which gives you a subtle coloured hue when used dry.  These were my Son's favourite pair of Converse which he wore out.  I'm glad I managed to snap a photo before they disintegrated.  Original work 8"x10" on Bristol
