Well, I can say I AM officially tired.
My last show of the year took place Sunday at the Goulbourn Museum. The Museum is a cozy venue that packs a big punch, a nice departure from the hustle and bustle of malls this time of year.
We changed things a little this year in hopes of growing our show. We added a poinsettia fundraiser, a bake sale with the Stittsville Pathfinders, Gluten Free baking with Bez Gluten Free and Ruby Rabbit, a make and take outdoor holiday swag with free hot chocolate for all who attended. Though a little rainy you can never rely on the weather to make things absolutely perfect. . . a sprinkle of snow would have been fabulous.
The vendors were wonderful as usual: Dragonfly Dreamers, Old Farmhouse Soap, Claude LeBel - Wood turner, Julie Lemoy - knitter, Fine Fibre Finds and me, Sheila Cain-Sample - Pencil Artist. We hope to add more next year.
There are big plans in the works for next year and we are so excited we have started planning already.
Stay tuned. . . it's going to be a good one.
