Bringing the outdoors in. It makes the house come alive when things seems to be putting themselves to sleep. Small centre pieces like this add warmth to a room. Candles glowing makes us feel more at ease with the day, it's quiet and fills the room with comfort. I found these paper leaves last year at a clear out, just lovely, the colours rich and sublime almost as good as pressed leaves. It's nice to have colour indoors when things are getting a little dull outdoors, an apple scented candle to top it off sitting on a vintage linen cloth brings us home.
