Once a week or so my gal pal Wendy & I get together to try something new just to get the creative juices flowing and it works very well. Multimedia is relatively new for me as my art is very controled. Using these techniques helps me immensely, I find my creative mind takes over and it opens up new avenues for me to want to pursue. It's funny how pieces take on a life of their own as you progress through the process.
