Took a day off yesterday, needed to spend time with my boys. We live such busy lives that it's important to make the time to connect with our loved ones. It was a rainy, damp day and I needed something warm and comfy. I halled out the old crock pot, I don't use it much in the summer, and made a big pot of chili. It was great! We got back from hockey and there it was waiting for us...that's the best. A nice loaf of ancient grain bread on the side...heaven. Take time for family and friends.
