Draw With Me - Pencil Review

Hello my fellow Artsies. . . I hope this week finds you well.  It's been a week full of paperwork for me so I was so pleased to be able to sit down and pen a few words about some thing Art related.

Last week a fellow Artist told me she didn't know much about Derwent Graphitints so I thought I could let you know what I think about them and how they work for me.

I have used them in two pieces of art work 'Converse With Me' and 'Rosa'.  I discovered Graphitints over a year ago just when I was looking to add a little more to my graphite drawings. . . these were perfect.  Graphitints are coloured graphite with the most wonderful muted hues.  When used dry they behave just as your graphite pencils do.

They interesting thing is that you can also use these pencils with water, they are water soluble which adds such a rich colour and new dimension to any piece.

I used them as dry pencils. . . I love the effect that the colour adds to the mood of my drawings.

If you want to experiment with something new try Graphitints I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the results.  You can purchase them in blister packs of 6, 12 tin or 24.

Let me know what you think.

Keep on drawing

Sheila
